โ ๏ธ We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we never use your location data for advertising purposes.
Location is the core data type GPS Workforce Monitor processes. With your permission, we collect GPS coordinates continuously while tracking is active. This includes:
- Latitude, longitude, altitude, and speed at regular intervals
- Track logs saved in GPX format with precise timestamps
- Geofence entry and exit events tied to defined workplace locations
- Distance traveled, route history, and waypoints you or your administrator define
โ ๏ธ Background location (iOS): If you grant "Always" location permission, GPS Workforce Monitor may collect location data even when the app is not in active use. You can change this to "While Using" or "Never" at any time in Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Location Services โ GPS Workforce Monitor.
You may export your GPX data at any time from within the app, and you may delete specific routes or your full location history via your account settings.
When the attendance module is active, GPS Workforce Monitor records:
- Check-in and check-out timestamps with associated GPS coordinates
- Geofence-triggered automatic attendance events at registered work sites
- Manual attendance entries submitted by employees or administrators
- Attendance summaries and reports visible to authorized administrators
If you use this app as part of an organization, your employer or administrator may have access to your attendance records. GPS Workforce Monitor acts as a data processor on their behalf, and their own privacy policies may also apply.
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your organization: Attendance and location data shared with administrators you are enrolled under
- Apple services: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for delivering notifications; MapKit for rendering maps
- Service providers: Cloud hosting and analytics tools bound by data processing agreements
- Legal requirements: If compelled by a valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the successor entity
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with marketers or data brokers.
